If you have a lot of money, you can go to a luxury resort and lie by the pool all day long. But, that’s not really travelling to me. That’s tourism. In the end, if you do that all the time, I feel like it gets kind of boring.

You can also listen to this episode on iTunes, Pocket Casts, Spotify, Castbox, and Google Podcasts.

In this episode, I talk to German photographer Anna Heimkreiter. Anna has been a well-known photographer on Flickr and beyond for a very long time. She takes thought-provoking self-portraits around the world. Something that makes her stand out from the rest is her love for solo travel.

She and I talk about:

  • Her exciting solo adventures in different countries and how they have affected her photography
  • Budget-friendly travel tips for photographers
  • Technical tips for those who want to improve their outdoor photography

& much more!

I really enjoyed talking to Anna about her solo trips, self-portrait photography, and courage. Please check out her work if you haven’t done so already. I hope that it inspires you to try new things and to trust your intuition.
